I made it back home Sunday night, so it's time for a quick FC report.

The con started for me several months ago with a project to build a pair of decent wooden shipping boxes for my room setup equipment, and to dismantle it from my guest room and pack it up for the trip. With the two boxes and a big canvas trunk for the plastic fittings, it fits ( Read more... )

I've been meaning to post some pictures from my AC 2009 return road trip through PA, OH, IN, MI, WI, MN, ND, SD, WY, NE, CO, and back home to NM.  It was a lot of fun, and I got to visit places I'd never been before.  Some of the highlights were dipping my paws in both Lake Michigan ( Read more... )

As per my last post, I decided not to go to Cedar Point, and instead to have an extra day for my travels so that I can see more of Mt. Rushore and the Crazy Horse memorial, as well as take it easy on the driving.  So, today, I drove through the corner of Indiana, mostly so that I can check it off of my "visit all 50 states" list.  :)  Next I headed ( Read more... )

AC was a blast.  I really enjoyed hanging out with Fox Cub, Teddy, Natasha, Thrash, and my roommates Rama and Icarus in the Cub Hub suite.  It was also nice to chill with neighbors and fellow New Mexico furs, Carol and Sabot.  I go to cons to meet up with friends more than anything else, so I spent most of my time hanging out with other furs.  I ( Read more... )

I headed out of SLC around 10:30AM and made it into Albuquerque around 8:30PM.  That's fairly good time for that trip.  Originally, I wanted to take two days and use the back roads, but at this point, I really wanted to get home to my own bed for once.  Also, I now have Sunday to unpack and clean up.
